Hey Maddog I love 2 stroke's and that H2 looks great. To bad they handled like a rubber band LOL!!
A couple of my mates had the 500s back in the 70s and it was a laugh how you could take off from the lights and power wheelie but they used have foot pegs and stuff coming loose from the vibes.
I have owned a RD250, 250LC, Kawasaki KR 250, RG 500 and a Yamaha 125 LOL!!
If Yamaha or Suzuki came out with a big 2 stroke today I would be first in line to buy one.
Imagine how good one would be in this day and age.

You guy's were lucky in respect of being able to own a KR, RG, we did get the RZ'S for a couple of years but then here they went the way of the DO-DO bird , really sucked, had to go "grey "market" which was a pain, always wanted an Aprilia RS 250, and a s a matter of fact I could get a 125 as we speak, brand new , but it would be a nightmare to reg. possible, but still a pain, my old RD's remind me of the SD as the front wheel was always in the air

Yes we were living the dream back in those day's LOL!! The little KR would run to 185kph and do it quickly, It was the tandum twin not the KR1 and the RG I used to love that thing but the fuel consumption was bad really bad but it was a fun bike.
Where ever you went with the RG you would have people checking it out, I felt a bit like a rock star
It was like, Out of my way boys this is a real GP bike. LOL!!
Ive been looking at Aprillia RS250s but I just cant justify having 2 bikes.

Maddog,

If they are only used as toys... don't forget about having to keep them on the pipe, jetting changes with the weather, etc. Don't get me wrong, the smell of two stroke smoke gets me going but to think of one to use instead of my SD, just isn't going to happen. I still have my RZ 350LC, (miserable bike to ride if it's not ridden in anger), and fondly remember my old 750. Rz might see track time as a disposable.

Nice H2 though...Remember hearing a bike for about ten minutes before it showed up while sitting in Halifax harbor. H2 in H1 chasis, Z1 swing-arm, H2 rear wheel in front, Z1 in the rear, Motor drilled to Swiss cheese, white chambers, and one piece FG tank/seat/fender in grabber green. Awesomely loud and rude thing. totally shamed my water buffalo. It really impressed me.

TZ750 in dirt track frame .. I might consider a trade with the SD.

I love 2 strokes, i miss all of them, my NSR 250SP had a dry clutch, how i miss the rattle, my RGV250 for just being a great bike and my RS250 for being the best handling bike i have ever riden or owned.
