Nah, the MT-07 & 09 are both budget bikes, at least they were until recently.
The 790 will have premium equipment so I'd expect it to be around £1k more.

It has to be priced above the 690 Duke but is in fact £1000 above the 690R and then are they going to launch an "R" version at more money. And if it is made outside of Austria then it's going to be a bit inferior.

That's really disappointing. Expected, but disappointing. Hard to put that kind of cash into a 790 - and I would want the R version. I think KTM is too proud of their products!
