Good looking puss lol always preferred cats over dogs too. Less maintenance, they're proven to be smarter than dogs (though not as obedient), and less needy. My friends think I'm crazy but oh well.

The difference is

You own a dog

A Cat may Choose to live with you....or just live in the same house till something better turns up

‘Stan’ although I had him from a tiny kitten was a Farm cat and still part ferrell he could really be affectionate he would run and jump on to my shoulder when I came home or a Tasmanian Devil all claws and teeth.....dependant on his mood

….if he was in the latter mood he would give you one warning not to pick him up or touch him…..(a long low meowwwwwwwwwwwww that finished on a high pitched note) ..after this warning one touch would send him into attack mode

A day I will always will remember……… my friend brought his Staffie around (It was a young dog but quite large for a Staffie he was great with people..but.. would fight with any dog no matter how big…..anytime, anywhere without fail, on sight)

...'Stan' was not impressed …to say the least, so I put him out side and locked the cat flap....He was repeatedly ramming the cat flap while we were talking but eventually all went quite ……what we did not know was he had managed to force open the locked cat flap

He truly was a 'Pissy Cat'

Here is my Scooter. He chose his own name. When i went to pick him up he scooted by me so fast i missed him. I eventually knabbed him, and he crawled to my shoulder and next thing I know he does a flying superman from my shoulder onto a couch, which there was a blanket tucked into the cushion and when he hit the blanket he was catapulted across the room and when he landed he came out and was limping. I scooped him up quickly and payed for him and took out of that house quickly.

That was 6 years ago. Scooter is my 3rd Siamese. I always had Siamese as a kid, they have such personalities!

Very nice.

We had a Siamesse when I was a young kid.

I had another in my early 20's, well she lived at my girlfriends. Both were great and had lots of character.

Siamesse and Burmese do have such personality. A friend has 2 Burmese and if the door bell rings they go running up to the door to greet who ever is there. It's like they think the person is coming to see them and not my friend. If they are not greeted by the guest they make it very clear with that distinctive meow they expect to be acknowledged. Once the person has bent down and given them a stroke they are happy and will leave them alone, that is of course unless they like the look of your lap, in which case they will make themselves at home on there
