Been looking into them lately... they look like stupid amounts of fun. quite expensive though.

Ran in the Rotax challenge briefly one year. tons of fun. No gears needed.

Do you already have kart experience?

I've tried a 125cc and those things are crazy fast enough to get right around a track, getting shifts in between is not healthy lol

There's a place in Ventura where I live I've had my
eye on to give a whirl..
A bit expensive but should be a total blast.

Yes.

Boring, slow, and expensive. Super fun if you're age 12 or less.

One can compete in full-size vehicles for the price of competitive karting.

With every possible motorsport option open to them a lot of F1 drivers choose to do Kart racing as R&R when not working - They obviously dont find it booring.

I have driven in a few Kart endurance races and would place it as at least as much fun as the open wheel single seaters I have driven - Different but in its own way just as thrilling

Never driven a gear change Kart though, the races are so wheel to wheel and hectic its hard to know when you would have time to change gears!!

Have a go and I bet you come out grinning.
