But the truth is seeing a bike completely repainted always makes me think -crashed and HAD to repaint it-

That blue bike looks truly shit though. Awful, awful, awful. But then I can't think of a single blue bike of any kind that looked good anyway. Except the mid nineties Yamaha R1 and R6.

I don't mind the blue, looks good!

The only blue Beast that looks any good runs with the X Men.
Your time and money is much better spent if you leave the 1290 paint alone and work on how to make it go faster.
