Some be-ach just reversed her Lexus 4x4 into by lovely bike, knocked it off the stand and mashed it into the kerb. What a k@nt. Going to need new bars, clutch lever, fairing, bobbins (did their job) and mirror. Grr. Felt like sobbing.

Damn. Sorry. She can use insurance to cover it? Sounds like some aftermarket parts in your future...

my ex bride backed into my GT650. since then i try to far away from cars and usually in as visible a spot as i can.

totally unrelated but i love pulling into the local Wholefood store on the SD. typically there are people in their Crocks
and workout outfits getting out of their BMWs or Jags and they look on in distain when i pull up with my Akros.
pretty funny actually!

Sorry to hear about your bike.

The bottom line is sometimes these things happen and there is no point in getting angry.

My missus has been known to reverse my new car into a pole doing considerable damage and indeed, I have T-boned someone because I didn't see them there.

I guess all of the indignant folks are those that have never made a mistake. In my view (especially on bikes) the trick is to know that we are all capable of making mistakes and change our riding accordingly. Pehaps the Be-ach will have learned something.

One time I was behind an old couple going into an underground garage.
They could not open the door, you had to slide a small credit card into the holder and the door would open.
My tag was on my key fob. i turn the bike off put it on the stand and Im walking the 10 steps up to open the door for both of us.They put the car in reverse and drive ,push, mash my at the time new CB750 into a paperweight
We had to get several people to lift the car off my bike that was wedged underneath.

They were kind enough to yell at me for doing this to their car????

Thanks for the supportive words buddies. It's on the road again. A few parts on order from the dealer that might take a while. They sent the bill direct to her. think I'll get back up to Johor this weekend and do a trackday before all the new bits get pit on. That should cheer me up a bit.
