A while back someone posted a link to a company, (I think in Germany), who were supplying carbon headlight cowls for the '07+ SD but now I can't find the thread.

Anyone here remember seeing it or know the company?

IIRC the guy making them only did the headlight mask as a one off to show his talents ?

Yes, I already have a set of the, (extremely limited edition), run made by our forum brother Mad Max Masalla but I was just wondering where else you could get them from. I have definitely seen a link to a site with the '07 model shrouds on it. Not interested at all in the '06 model as it is ugly as hell and the worst thing about the earlier bikes. Sorry you poor folks with this model. Send the link to Klinky - ha ha.

I will get drunk one night and search through the back threads and find this mother fooker, "it's out there somewhere"!

Just been in contact with the carbon guy that made me a set of heel plates, and I will be sending him a spare set of headlight wings to reproduce for me , so for the price of my spares to make moulds, I get a carbon set for free,, going to have him make a stock screen in carbon as well, (extra part) and a "modified size KTM Touring screen" , thinking a little wider at the top , tapering to a little wider at the bottom, for a bit more protection perhaps,,but as far as "headlight mask wings" there will be another part producer in about six weeks, albiet on this side of the pond,,, like I said he does have the ability to make some heel plates as well now he's got the moulds,,, been thinking of sending him my "made in Greese" seat cowl as well ,, nicer made out of carbon,,, have to work on him to do some bigger and better parts,,,,a tank pad for an 07 onward SD comes to mind,, but as he has said he would need a local SD owner to bring his bike down to make a mould,, so if there's any Cali guy's that would be interested in a free carbon tank pad , I know I'd like to fit one on me 08,,,and I know Ronnin does,,,,,,,,,,,
