Guys just wanted to let you know that I recomend the continental road attack 2 tyres. First neither front or rear tyre required any wheels weights! That is a first for me on any tyre. I was worried at first when mounting the tyres because I could not find the yellow/red dot anywhere on the tyres. Plus the road attack 2's don't really require a break-in period.
I took the bike out today for the first proper ride and I love the profile of these tyres! Very linear lean characteristics, very smooth rolling and bump absortion. I run the stock size 190/55, 120/70. I do not know about the wear characteristics yet, but if they go for 7-8 thousand miles, these are going to be my bikes tyres till I sell it. I'm not a peg scrapper, but I do lean over pretty good, so I can't speak for extreme carving road handling/gripping ability of these tyres. But just from what I experienced today, I'm sure they would do just fine for the hardest street riding you could do. They way they feel for my style of riding, I am estatic.
I should mention that the tread does not cross over the center of the rear tyre, so I have read some complaints about the tyre not having near the tread dept left that was thought before a ride since there is no way to gauge it. Some left thinking they had plenty of tyre for their ride only to have to stop at a near by motorcycle shop to do an emergency tyre change!
