I just bought a pair of these boots this morning and wanted to let you guys know my impressions so far. I've been needing a pair of riding boots for a long time now and had pretty much decided on getting a good dual sport touring boot. But the Sidi Adventure boots I want are going to take awhile to save for. So in the mean time, I spotted these on sale for $69 and thought I'd give them a go. I took them out for a 45 mile ride in 95 degree (farenheit) weather and I have to say, my feet stayed cool. Being a ventilated boot, I expected a lot and wasn't disappointed. They were also surprisingly comfortable. I bought a size larger than what i normally wear because they seem to run almost a full size small. They required zero break-in and were very flexible right from the start. They seem to have a decent sole on them and while they cannot compare to a high quality track boot, I'd have no reservation recommending them as a street boot. They have external ankle protection as well as pretty good toe and heel reinforcement. Oh yeah, they've got good shin protection too. If you need a cheap pair of leather boots that are way better than regular shoes, look no further.

No offense dude, but you could have stepped in your neighbor dogs dooty barefoot and had the same amount of protection.

Better than nothing, but probably not by much. At least you don't look so squidly. I've had two friends damn near snap their lower legs off in crashes wearing crap boots. Unfortunately you get what you paid for, or you get on eBay and find good used gear much cheaper. Top of the line A* boots are a small price to pay to ensure I can walk again. Got 'em on eBay slightly used for $125.

That Bilt crap or any junk gear on the market that is sold to be trendy and gives a false sense of security pisses me off. But it is a free country...
