Really chuffed to have found another set of one piece Dainese leathers on ebay last week. In my opinion these are one of the best suits Dainese ever made, they were top of the range at some point, maybe about ten years ago, but I don't think they have ever been bettered, modern suits are just not as well made. They have really thick leather with bonded in armour at the knees and elbows and kevlar stitching throughout.
I bought my first one on ebay in 2007 and then had it turned into a two-piece by Hideout for the practicality. They did a great job but I wanted another one-piece for track days and have been searching ever since then. I look every week and they come up rarely, maybe two or three a year. Sometimes they are not the right size, (I'm a 56), or they are not black. The black and red/orange ones are more common but I don't want colour in my life. )

Looks like the arse airbag has deployed in the two piece.

Ha ha. It's the obvious difference between the two. I had Hideout add in an inch or two length in the crotch because I either have a long body or big balls. Not sure which but they fit me better than the way Dainese cut their leathers - which must be for short arsed, or small balled Italians.

Think I found Ducati Pete selling his leathers:
Here's a peak incase the auction goes down

I dont know how i feel about buying second hand leathers.
You cant clean them like you could a textile product. You'll just never get those cheese stains (which I imagine must exist) out.

You can clean leathers just like anything else. Anyway, for me saving £900+ is worth putting up with a bit of cheese!
