Didn't buy the 1290, but I did buy this Monster

and what a monster she is... howling and barking all night long, I decided to put her in the garage inside a circular fence I setup.

This morning I go in to check on her and she obviously escaped the fencing and literally shit everywhere in the garage lol.

Guess I better get used to the craziness eh?

I am no dog whisperer but I suspect the reason a dog that is happiest pulling a sled around on snow is howling and barking is because you live in California.

Somewhere on another forum, a halfwit Inuit is asking why his cute baby camel isnt eating the whale blubber.

Bass dogs don't liked to be separate from the rest of the family so what I'm saying is that she is crying to be inside with you.
Dogs are very smart and feel there is something wrong if they are kept separate from the pack so you have a decision to make try and keep her outside and this wont work as she will just keep playing up or leave her in the garage and you have already seen this doesn't work either from her protesting ( POOP ) every were Lol!

She's beautiful. Good luck. Today's leash laws leave me no good reason to own a dog in close community confines. There was once a time when dogs were treated with more respect and people new how to live with neighbors dogs. I hope you have dog loving neighbors.
Dont worry females usually mellow out in six or seven years.

how long do i give you guys to guess lol. it starts with an "n". Youll never figure it out though haha.

I live in a community where tons of people own horses and everyone has animals so its not a big deal.

I'm going to crate train her so i can get her to sleep inside with me at night which should also help out.

I had a Siberian Husky. Chewed through a brush fence to get out twice. Sold her to a farmer with 20 acres - much happier dog. Got Alaskan Mals now - not quite as wild.

+1 for crate training really helps if they ever hurt themselves and are restricted to no running.

I've always wanted to name a dog "Damn It," but never could get the wife to go for it.

Let's see, it is BA's dog, so maybe he named it after himself, err, Nitwit? Nubbin? Nancy?

Good on ya mate I hate how some people treat dogs they are so loving.
You see just how loving dogs are when a owner treats their dog like crap and the dogs still loves them.
This might sound dumb but if you keep her inside the house with you and when you go to bed let her sleep in there with you she will stop crying.

Thanks for the advice man. You really feed em rice, veggies, and meat? I don't even eat that well... lol

She was pretty dirty from the owner so I figured I'd use shampoo to give her at least one good bath, I'll make sure to not use it anymore though

Yeah I was real careful with some tweezers to get the ticks. I'm like a pro now

I have her on Solid Gold Wolf Pup food, I was told it is good for puppies

I bath my dogs twice a year at most and make sure to use oatmeal conditioner after the shampoo. I let the conditioner sit for 15 min before rinsing, really helps prevent flaking dry skin, but my breed has a bit more fur than yours. I have tried the natural food diet and even raw. Truth is dogs have been with us for 15000 years and like us dont need raw food but cooked is great. With that being said only my old girl got homemade meals and that was for lunch to keep her a healthy weight before she passed, All my pups now are feed earthborn dry food ImageImage

All are rescues all had skin/eye problems as well. My ex worked at a emergency vet hospital so they got the best treatment and info as well.

My dog needs a bath almost everyday , the bath consists of a warm bucket of water with bicarb in it , works a treat , never use shampoo.
The reason its daily is the fooking dog loves nothing more than running off into the woods and coming back wearing either badger shit or (my personal favourite)
the small intestines and shitbag of a deceased rabbit , he'll come back proud as punch the dirty fooker Only ever fed him hills science plan
