I just saw that Australia had its first solar eclipse in one thousand years.
I have always tripped on the relationship of size between the three bodies. A small satalite blocks a sun at a perfect size to the eye. The earth blocks the sunlight to the moon in the same perfect size relationship.
I like to think is is by design but will surely be accused of dillusional meanderings

It's actually only been 10 years since the last one, funny how things get twisted on the grape vine.
