Was doing a bit of research into brakes and found this set up - never seen it before. I had a Berenger on my old LC4 with a cast iron brake and it was much better than the OE brake - also it was cool because it went rusty in about 30 seconds in the rain.

Me. personally, I like stuff made from the best materials for the job. Honesty in materials with no embelishments is what I like. Unpainted carbon, stainless steel, plain anodised aluminium etc. Brake discs made from cast iron are really good - but the side effect is they go rusty with a light coating of orange when wet. I like this - it's cool. (Not to be confused with rusty bits of corrosion all over bolt heads and the like - this is bad and a result of poor quality materials and poor finishes.)

they are ductile iron, not cast, i have them on my race bike and they work well, they seem to offer much better feed back and make ckicling noises when going slow due to them being FULL FLOATING rotors, they move around a lot on their pins.
