Maybe he did the wheelie in an attempt to hide his plate? What a nugget anyway, wheelies are cool but only in the right time and place.

12 month driving ban and 200 hours of community service? Jesus christ...do those camera's automatically follow speeders or are they controlled by operators?

You Brits have some effed up traffic "solutions" and I fear the morons here will soon try to adopt them. The fact is that most of the "drivers" here shouldn't have a license. Some dumb cnut actually tried to pass me in bumper to bumper traffic by "lane splitting" -- in a Honda Accord. Really? Do you really think a Honda Accord can fit in the 4' space between cars? Summary execution would not be harsh enough for that dumb bitch. Her whole defective bastard line should be eliminated.

It seems that the "plan" to balance the Kalifornia budget is to issue as many speeding tickets as possible. Everywhere I look nowadays, there is some super trooper lurking in the bushes with a radar gun. And, I've never seen more accidents, because while Popo Joe is sitting on the side of the road, thumb firmly imbedded in his asshole, the drunks roam free to crash into anyone they please.

So, instead of some lard ass sitting in a van eating donuts, or kippers, or whatever the fook your coppers eat over there (excepting Superdan of course ), he / she should be out stalking dumb asses like the Katya courva in the beat to shit Accord trying to make three lanes out of two. As for the dumb ass doing the 103 mph wheelie, he got most of what his dumb ass deserved - not because what he did was particularly dangerous or offensive, but because he was dumb enough to get caught. / Rant.

Up until recently the local mobile camera vans in Norfolk (uk) could only take a picture of you as you approached which led to a fairly relaxed attitude in the biking community toward these mobile safety cash machines - hence the wheely past. Unfortunately because bikes were being quite relaxed about it and roaring past them not giving a shit they installed installed a series of camera's in small dark coloured blisters down the side of the van to catch the rear numberplate on passing bikes....... Leading, i suspect, to how this particular gentlemen came unstuck!

Just so as our american cousins understand this.... they don't stop you, in fact you may not even know you've been caught speeding until the picture and Notice of Intended Prosecution (NIP) arrives in the post. The police in most cases are not responsible for them - they are subcontracted out to Safety Camera Partnership schemes who's sole business is to tax... sorry ..... fine people for exceeding the speed limit. They are a curse on the motoring society of the UK and i would quite happily lob an angry wasps nest in the window of every one i passed if it weren't for the fact that i would be sent to the equivalent of GitMo for the privilege........

..... and don't even get me started on Speed averaging camera's.......

.....edit: just managed to get the video of this guy to work and its not video from the blister cameras.... oh well!

I had always assumed there was a physical test for becoming a police officer. I am guessing this is only for the new recruits coming in. IMO, police should issue psychical fitness tests every year! I would not want that fat fook to be the one defending me and my family, unless we were using him as a meat shield.
