Has anyone on here seen one in the flesh? Bloke up the road from me just got one this week and it looks good. A lot better than the pics I've seen.

My local dealer I do a few jobs for just got one in but it's sold so I can't test it.
I like the styling, a bit like the SD angular. Nice to see them step away from the "they all look the same" japonese style and getting away with it.
The only thing I personally don't like is the MASSIVE end can on the left. I'm sure there will be aftermarket ones soon to solve this. I don't think Husky is probably to blame for that but more the EU wanker mp's.
All up looks nice.

He will have an R in as a demo soon and I'll have a go at that and report back.
The dealers went for a demo weekend and he liked the way it handled, it is not as powerfull as the SD as he only managed to get 200 clicks out of it on the track.
This seems on par with the claimed HP figures.
Other similarities with the SD is the brembo brakes and supposed classy suspension out of the box. The R has Ohlins shock and sachs forks, the standard model sachs all around.
Here in Oz standard with pirelli rosso II's.

Hey Guy the bloke I was talking to with the nuda said that it has throttle snatch at about 2500rpm also thought that it idle to high also.
He didn't like the gearing either I think he said that it was to low or was it to high
He said that it used 9 litres to do 220ks that is dam good.

thats got the BMW 900 Parallel Twin in it. they did a road test and i guess it handles alright but they describe the engine as lackluster.
funny but so far i see nothing that could pull me from my SD except maybe a RC8.

there is a suzuki road test day that my budy asked me to this aft, and i really want to try a GSXR 1000, not at all that i want one, but i want to see what that kind of HP feels like. i test rode a BMW 1000RR last year but it was nutered with the factory break in red line thingie. i havent been on a GSXR since 98 and that was a 750

I used to own a 06 Gixxer 1000 I reckon that thing had the best motor of all the Gixxer 1000.
The only down side with suzuki is the quality of fit and finish it seems a bit lacking. I used to own a Hayabusa as well and that was the same.
One thing that seems to be a common problem is that the fork seals don't seem to last long especially if you don't ride the bike very often it seems that the seals go hard and start to leak.
