I've been searching for a hydraulic lift/bench for the SD for quite a while. There's always the dilemma about buying new versus used. I have been watching this one on Ebay for a week and it's only ten miles from where I live. Really good quality and not one of the flimsy type that you often see. But it has a lot of interest and the price is creeping up.
Do you think it's worth winning the auction?

Alternative is something new like this which is the same sort of price. But is it the same quality? I don't want to end up with some wobbly piece of crap.

I purchased this http://www.harborfreight.com/1000-lb-ca ... -8495.html and have been happy with it. I picked it up for $300.00 with a coupon. No complaints so far. My knees feel much better.

Funeral directors use a coffin lift which is more or less the same thing, I used to have one, paid 50 quid for it at an auction, didnt take much to turn it into a bike lift, was a quality bit of kit and rated to 300kgs as I remember, more than enough for the RDs I was working on back then

Check out the Ez Rizer with V-twin mounts. Made in England. Just used mine to work on my SP-2. Storage space required when not in use, is tough to beat.
