I just need to tell someone

I fixed my 990 finally. And I feel as though the members of the forum would be the most relate-able to tell the story.
I bought my '07 990 around october of last year and went on pretty much just 1 ride.

Found a leaky oil pressure sensor switch that was hidden by some JB weld from the PO.

After multiple attempts at some mickey mouse fixes that I won't go into detail on, I finally bought a 10mm time-sert and actually repaired the stripped threads.

So for the first time after owning this bike for almost a year, I think I can finally go out and ride without spewing oil all over the engine!
And I'd like to offer my insight and help if anyone ever has to go through a similar problem. It's not a difficult problem to fix!

I'm really happy to be able to finally ride my bike and just wanted to share it with you guys.

Cheers!

Rob
