For a cat C I would be reluctant to pay more than half what the non crashed bike would go for. You can find several sold at 5.5K in great nick with one owner and low miles. By the time you had faffed arroun with this to put it in fine fettle you would be close to the price for a good one anyway and what you had would be hard to sell on. At the right price and if it's going to be a keeper then perhaps yes but I think it's about a grand over as it stands.

Just my view. Good luck whatever you decide.

How much will a clock set cost?

That's got to be the first worry.

Whatever you get next, at least you got rid of the Tu-oh-no. Nasty.

Not sure I'd wanna be fixing up a written off RC8 though. You'll spend a fortune and never see a penny back. Just buy a sorted SD or older RC8.

I'm all for a bargain but that one worries me and its at a premium price given the component damage.
Obviously you need to see it first but amongst other things I'd need to ask them where's the near side front disk and why is it missing?
With a bike in this condition you'd expect to be able to drive them down a bit though.

FWIW, I heard that RC8s don't crash well - especially the frames. I have no first hand knowledge of this, but was told the trellis gets bent out of shape in a minor off. Make sure you check it before you buy.
