Interesting idea for London bikers

Just read about this in MCN. Great idea for those jobs where you need a special tool or something - or just feel like working under a roof and not in the street in the rain. Like I just got up for the first weekend in months to play with my SD and it's pissing down. http://www.ovalmotorcyclecentre.co.uk/web/index.php

A good idea but prices are a little steep considering you are doing all the work. £15 an hour would be a more reasonable price IMO

Or you could do what I do and just take it to work and use the hangers..... Oh wait not everyone works on an airfield

Me and Amy are looking for a new house and top of my list of priorities is a double garage and a garden. Out of London, of course, never get these things in London unless you are a millionaire.

nice idea, and I do like the concept but it's never going to be

a) cheap enough to get enough punters
b) expensive enough for the business to make any real cash

£20 an hour has got to be close to "local garage man"'s hourly rate, and included in that is a man doing the work for you!!

p.s. this concept has been discussed a fair bit on the owners forum for my car, and most agree it'd never bring in enough cash to make it worthwhile. Granted, a car version is gonna be more expensive to set up, with more space needed, car lifts costing a tonne etc.. but the principle is the same.

There's a place like this (but for cars) near Newport apparently that, last I heard, was about to be repossessed by the bank barely 6 months after opening
