Dribble, Hopper is riding for Crescent Suzuki.

He is 2nd in the championship right now.

Given that he is a MotoGP rider I've been quite suprised by his enthusiasm for the quirky, tight UK circuits. He seems to having fun and has a big smile on his face most of the time. This has caused sales of sun glasses to rocket, as we only get sun as bright as his teeth 2 days a year here.
He did throw a track side tantrum in Scotland a few weeks ago after he crashed due to a poor tyre - I quite liked that as it shows he really is into the whole championship thing.

He's quite a fan favourite here, I don't think it's anythiong to do with his British connection either.

Thanx for the link. I know that BSB has a good following and judging from thier website it looks like a very professional endevour. It was quite a surprize to me to see that Jake Zempke is in BSB. He is a local hero that has made many a AMA grid worth watching. He has battled hard and rode full tilt in a series that was full blown 600's called Formula Extreme. I read Niell Mackenzie's book a few years back and when he finnished his GP career he headed back to BSB and tore it up.
There is not a shortage of brilliant riders in that series. people that well deserve to be planted in world supersport or World Superbike. Shakey was a favorite for me and I have seen Hill with a couple wildcard entrys in World that were superb. The tracks arejust down right crazy dangerous to us folks over here. The AMA crew would not leave thier motorhomes if they were planted at some of those venues.
Jake Zemke spent his career on a Honda and unfortunatly is still on one. They used to take racing in the lower categories much more seriously. The money left and so did they.
I will check in and watch the results through the season.
Thanx again Pete
