has anyone noticed any difference this year? I understood more bus lanes were to be opened up to bikes in the new year - but I've seen little that's changed on my route through SE London.

It's about time they made this decision. Great news for London bikers. Only problem for me is it's come one month after I moved out of London!!! (after riding there for 20 years) Must have had at least 5 fines and endorsements over the years for being spotted in bus lanes.

A couple of boroughs do allow bikes in bus lanes. Greenford being one of them. Its about time they all did it, the argument from cyclists groups has been proven to be a load of shite so I don't know why they are not doing it.
