fook that! If he'd gone in the drink he'd probably died of hypothermia before they could warm him back up.

Back in the day, my friend was doing "speed run's " on a lake , flogging a kitted up RD350 Yammy,,,,,80mph with studded tyres,,,,,open water ahead,,,,,laid it down,,,,,right into the drink ,,no real damage done,,,funny thing he now has a KTM to flog the ice with,,,,,,,

Imagine the phone call to the insurance company if they didn't manage to get it out - "Well I was riding on top of a lake....."

Typical biker though, struggling to get out of the lake and tells the rescuers to get his bike
