Only had a few hours free yesterday so not long enough to get out of the smoke so rode down to Hein Gericke in Stockwell. Hardly ever go South of the river. Got there to find a new Duke R parked up outside, (it was the managers), and while I was there another Superduke pulled up. Heard a few comments from the staff about people thinking they were a KTM dealer. Noticed that the SD had no airbox, (had a Motobox fitted), and when I met the rider it was Gezza57. Nice to meet you mate! I'll definitely let you know next time I'm booking onto a Brands trackday if you are interested. I followed him out to Metropolis Motorcycles just to hear the sound of two sets of Akras bouncing off the sides of buses and traffic. Went back to Metropolis later on in the afternoon and met a young lady who was deciding whether to buy a Ducati hypermoto thing but she'd also been considering a SD for a long time. Biggest issue was that there is no longer a dealer in London - real shame. Tried my best to persuade her the SD was a better bike. But she wasn't that tall and my seat height maybe put her off a bit.

The KTM Center in Hemel is easy enough to get to if on the North side, just jump on the '25 to Watford then the A41 north. (there are better routes but I'll let you find them for yourself )

There's also Hyside Motorcycles in Romford. Not exactly Saaff Lahndahn, but still shithole central generally...
