just picked up my part worn tyres today, fitting them this weekend and off out blasting sunday so hope there as good as people say they are and hope i dont have any problems getting heat into them and keeping it in them?

What do they call the metz version of the sp pirelli (same as the "BSB") version.

They would be the ones to have on the road. Much better after repeated heat cycles.

Duncan do you not think there is a possibility that you perhaps a tad unlucky and a stone cold tyre just washed out? You weren't you using warmers were you? Tyre guy could of course be spot on and I know shit about it really but didn't he end up getting a sale from u? I've bought about 10 sets of Racetec scrubs now and have not had a problem with any of them... yet

I wouldn't worry about it too much, i've had the same set of scrubs on since the end of July, they've done a half day at Snett, two days at Cadwell and around 700 miles of road riding, no problems so far, right side on the rear is nearly down to the wear marker though.

i bought some m3 sportecs off ebay and i gotta say they are fooking brilliant 100 times better than the diablos that was on there not had 1 slide like the others and i got feeling in the front.
they warm up quick and stick like shit to a blanket and there only £165 brand spankin.

Ive used them loads of times on loads of my bikes.
Just make sure you warm them first for a couple of miles then nail it.
Be very carefull in the wet you lose all feeling.
Awesome tyres.
