That was 2 & 1/2 laps of amazing racing. I was jumping all over the sofa watching it live. There is a segment of that on the movie Fastest and the onboard shot from Rossi's bike show him have 2 big front end slides on that last corner. Both riding right to the edge.

Utterly fantastic! I hope and pray there is still some of that magic from him in the next season. He's a hero of mine and it would be great for him to leave the sport gracefully.

He gave the slimy spaniard another lesson at Motegi same year.

What amazed me when watching Fastest movie was how people love Rossi in his hometown. He's a legend, I'm still big fan of him, I like his attitude and I hope he can manage to win another few races.
