Gotta say im not too worried either, they bring up this kind of stuff all the time and it never makes it to production because there would be major uproar.
Plus if this ever did happen and they made it nationwide and hidden i'd pull my plates because the amount of times youd get caught for no plates would be alot less than the fines you'd get from that.
Thats already the case for things like insurance its so much to insure certain things these days your better off with a fine.
I was watching a cop program the other day and he was driving a subaru impreza WRX at 19 and his fine for no insurance £250 well when i got a quote at that age for one of them was £1800.
Dont get me wrong i fooking hate uninsured drivers as much as the next guy but you can certainly see why people do it when the time is worth the crime.
