My view at work. I started a new project and the gods, all three of them, have smiled down and up upon me. Ever once in a while you get a job you think you could surely not be worthy of and I have landed another. It is in Hollister Ranch and it is a challenge even for the likes of a super carpenter that is I.

Stunning, and good on ya for landing a gig in such a fine location.
I am one of the Kalifornistanians however, that is not pleased with the access situation the state continues to look the other way on, and the disingenuity of both the residents and it's overlording "Hollister Ranch Owners' Association" as supposed (and self-appointed) "environmental stewards" while hypocritically ranching cattle there (at a financial loss). All of which really only serves their own interests (of exploiting tax break opportunities while restricting access to public land). For those of you not familiar with it, it is a somewhat infamous and controversial place, "The Ranch" ...
I hope the job is extraordinarily profitable for you!

While you're there carpentering, is that roof meant to have a bloody great kink in it?

Nice DD..Built a really cool home on the Oregon coast back in the late 70's when I was swinging a hammer...no nail guns back then for us.
I hope they like your work and keep you on with add-ons until you want a new gig. Had multi jobs like that.
That is a very satisfying job indeed. Sure kept me off the tennis courts after work tho.
My two ex-building partners and fam damlys had a picnic last night.
