This is great technology, I hope that they can make it cost equivalent to spark plugs, at least soon after their introduction to the marketplace!
I imagine there will be other advantages such as more longevity lower emissions etc.

That is really cool! Combining this with electronic valve control(something I remember hearing about a while back, as in no camshaft) would make for an infinitely tunable engine with a laptop....
