Oh good. Well the font size confused me, so small I missed it! What is up with that tiny 8 point font for the SD in your sig?
It should be

congrats, looks like a lot of fun.

http://www.bikeland.org/board/viewthrea ... &TID=44251 Great bike there bass! I actually traded mine in on the SD.
One thing with this model was they had a recall on the from cracking on the welds back from the head stock.
The fix was a brace that was shaped to fit the frame that was glued on with an aircraft grade epoxy that is actually stronger than welding .
They are a fantastic street bike plus track bike in stock trim I think from memory it would pull 100mph in first gear so be careful little fella.

Went on a long ride with Kowekiller through Ojai and that area over there (I just follow, Idk where I'm at really lol).

It was taking me a while to get used to, riding this thing is so much different than the SDR. I started off not-so-fast, but as the day progressed I started to get more comfortable with it.

I still have a ways to go to get used to this bike but things are looking good so far. My only complaint is that my knees and back are tooooast Lol.

This thing is a rocket ship compared to the duke!

Sportsbikes were built for the race track and it's there they make the most sense! Take it and you won't regret it..... unless you chuck it.... in fact best not go

So malcolm smith motorsports is ordering the MC for me, and I'm bringing the bike Friday for them to install it and inspect my frame. They said if it just needs the brace I can just bring the bike back when they get one, but if the frame happens to need replacing, that will take a couple weeks.

They spray some special stuff on the frame so they can see if it has any cracks if it does they have to replace frame but if its only the brace the bike shop will let you know when the brace arrives. From memory It took about 2 and a half hours when I had mine done?

Hey Bass I actually remember when I got my brace put on I had to leave the bike for a couple of days so its not just two and a half hours like I said in previous post ooopps
The longer you can leave the bike they might just do a better job then trying to rush them..

I think they have to run the engine to heat the frame to make the epoxy go off quicker but the glue they use so I have been told is similar to the stuff that holds a lot of aircraft together so it is really strong stuff.
