looks great. Not cheap, but probably worth it.

KTMGuy, You in the market for something special to replace your 1290?

Holy crap a better looking 1290 Super Duke with a correct street fighter twin spar swingarm, I always said the 1290 SD was more of a naked RC8 than a blood line 620, 640 Duke, 990 Super Duke. Also think KTM took too big of a leap going from a 990 to the 1290 and not making a 1025 SD and then the 1290 SD or both at the same time. IMO KTM lost a lot of 990 SD owners and didn't really pick up the number of 1290 SD buyers to cover the loss. Just my opinion. They did a much better job with the Adventure market by going from a 950 ADV to a 990 ADV, then to the 1150 ADV and then to the 1290 Super Adventure. KTM even back tracked a little and offered the 1050 Adventure. To me what they did with the 990 Super Duke to the 1290 SD would have been like going from the first offering 950 Adventure right to the 1290 Super Adventure and not slowly stepping those original 950 ADV owners up the ladder. I never saw the 1290 Super Duke as a bike I would want to replace my 990 Super Duke with and yes I always felt it was more of a naked RC8, not a bike I really felt was a real Duke/Super Duke..................................and don't get me started on the Super Duke SMR... I mean GT

If this was the bike KTM launched instead of the 1290 I would be in line to buy one.
