Recommend Me A Jacket

I purchased my SD six weeks or so ago after leaving the bike scene in the year 2000.

Back then, jacket choices weren't many. But today, the choice is mind boggling.

I'd like some recommendations on jackets for summer commuting duties. My wife is a very good cook, so I'm looking for sizes toward the bigger end of the scale

I like big zips you can actually use with gloved hands. Summer here in Brisbane gets furken hot, so a mesh type jacket with heaps of airflow would be the go. Ideally, it would feel like I'm wearing not much at all.

Elbow and shoulder protectors are a must.

My budget is mid to upper price range.

Keen to hear the recommendations.

Thanks.

I use Büse, Like it very much in cold conditions.
I have also a leather jacket and that one is from Arlen Ness. Protected me very good the last time i kissed the earth.

Dainese leather jackets are best fit, material quality and attention to detail, plus Italian design carries some cool biker spirit. They are pleasure to wear. Of course you should try them on to get best fit or have exchange option if you buy through the web.

I thought i'd found my perfect summer jacket last year, but then noticed some cunt had embroidered "Feel the speed" across the arm. So i went for a spidi jacket and it was nice and cool without the inners in 35-45°, not much in the way of cargo though, two side pockets and one bit of netting inside.
