Still not resolved my serious ignition problems.

HM Racing can sort it but they are booked up for a few weeks. I was going to ride it/limp it over to them yesterday but now it won't even run on two cylinders, just a misfiring one pot. I managed to arrange a bike delivery company to fit me in but when I rang HM to confirm delivery they said they didn't have enough space to store it until they were ready to work on it.

So bike is back in garage with no certain way of getting fixed and I don't have time to sort it out now. Its a weird feeling having no SD on the road, first time in eight years.

Thank god I still have the Kawasaki H2 to put a smile on my face

Dude ring John at Track Electronics. Yeah it's a bit of a trek to get it there but the guy is a fooking wizard!!! If I'd known yesterday you could have bought it to me and I'd have dropped it off with him today as I'm picking up my Blade from him.

Just disconnect the QS for now!
it plugs in between the plug for the coil pack and the coil pack.
4 plugs to undo an 2 to plug back in. Can't figure out why you haven't done that yet?
Will give you closure if it is the QS or something else to look at also.

Ah yes, the mysterious electrical fault PITA rears its ugly head. Good luck getting it sorted. My work van developed one, which I never got to the bottom of. Got a new van in the end, needed to be back on the road and it was only way to stop loosing work.

Start with disconnecting qs as mentioned earlier. I had some misfiring issues and qs was at fault. I've been unformed by qs manufacturer that SD (my is with Beru coils) is very sensitive to any additional stuff connected into ignition circuit and misfiring is happening quite often and at the end they didn't know how to resolve that so finally I went for different qs. But reading about your problems I would check qs first by disconnecting it from ignition circuit.

Craig. Thanks for offer of help and message last week.

Bike is now delivered to HM Racing and so they are in the best position to either fix the quick shifter or identify if it is another problem.

Hoping to hear in the next few days what is up.
