anybody tried these? apparently KTM is or will use these as stock replacements.

Yes, I understand KTM / WP are using SKF seals. The previous supplier I believe was hut by the tsunami which hit Japan. I am currently running SKF seals in my forks and as they are SKF there have been no problems-so far.

WP put forward one of the reasons for change was better performance via less friction.

Whatevs on the seals and brand ... Not that huge a deal, if correct type and size. There is nothing exotic about WP forks or the seals required for them.

SKF Group is a very reputable, more than century old, global bearing supplier; today consisting of more than 150 companies, including a few seal manufacturers. They will be fine if correct type and size.
