Interesting, but... bit risky. Buy $2k helmet without even put it on the head first to see how it feels

When u see the technology built into this its seems really good value for money, I would buy one.

but first.

how long the battery last.
how good is it as a helmet.. the bit where your head hits the ground whilst listening to metalica and watching the speed go past 170mph upside down..
how reliable will these early models be
how heavy is it with all that tech and battery
how clear is the sound at speed

would like to see some reviews first but if it goes as good as it looks... I will be placing my order as soon as my lid wears out

I like them. Would have been pretty great to have when I was a courier! No way would I pay $2k but I'm sure it will come down. I will never be comfortable listening to music while I ride however..

I agree, lot of tech for that price, but a lot of questions too. I would buy one just for sat nav and rear view camera, I never liked listening the music while riding... Let's see some review first, it is sometimes better when someone else try first Too expensive really to "just buy it and will see".

It appears to have all kinds of goodies. I like the idea of having a HUD that reads MPH on the track. Never have to look down - not that anyone should be looking down while riding at 160 mph. I love the idea of sat nav directions in the helmet, but I guess this has been done via bluetooth before. The rear view camera is trick (but sort of done before ala, REEVU). Besides the price, the biggest barrier to entry is the fact, as someone above mentioned, that I'd have no idea how it would fit.

I wish them success. If it sells well, maybe a major company will pickup the idea and run with it, or buy them out. Either way, it appears that tomorrow is here today.

Hahaa I wonder how many guys will be distracted trying to see if they are painting black lines coming out of corners in the rearview hud and crash

Cool though. Good to know that if its coming our now, in 5 years or less probably most of the helmet manufacturers will be offering similar technology.

Why don't you just buy a Prius instead.

i wont buy a helmet that i cant try on
as far as the price i think it will be a hard sell
i don't need to listen to music when i ride
or have a phone call lol
this helmet has to have sum serious weight
to it
give it a year or two and there will be
a lot of helmets copying it at a much cheaper
price

All the gizmos in that thing kinda remind me of 'Streethawk' a bad nightrider style TV show from my childhood...

Lets be honest, how loud does the thing have to get to cancel out exhaust noise?
