How I see it with this new system is that it doesn't matter how good a driver you are you will get fined at some stage.

Has QLD got the mobile speed cameras that are outsourced to private operators?
These cameras are purely for revenue raising.
When I see one I pump the horn to get the operators attention then give them the fukc you salute

It doesn't matter how much the governments try to claim that they are only there for safety, we all know its for revenue.

I'm all for putting them up on dangerous roads/dangerous sections of roads, but when the are put up on a a nice straight, wide section of road a couple of miles away from an accident black spot, that's when they are blatantly a revenue raiser.

There's a road near me called the A9, which is the main trunk road from Inverness to Perth. It's mostly single carriageway, about 120 mile long and is Scotlands most dangerous road. Rather than duel carriageway it more than it is, to stop car drivers getting frustrated behind slow moving lorries (this road goes through the Scottish Cairngorm mountains) and doing stupid overtakes, the government have decided, in the "eyes of safety", to install average speed cameras the whole distance. So rather than getting stuck for a bit then overtaking when safe to do so, you're now going to be stuck behind a lorry doing 45mph for miles on end.

Bunch of bellsniffs!

I remember when they first started using cameras years ago.
One chap got his photo taken speeding.
He took a photo of money to pay the fine and sent that in to the road tax collectors.
The road tax collectors sent a photo back to the speeder of a pair of hand cuffs.

Hey whipper snapper….doing ok here thanks, hope you and mum are well. Summer here and a bit warm/humid…have been doing a lot of shooting instead of riding. Fall events are about to start up, so will be getting back to riding. Riding mate just got what he calls a KTM eater (ST1300 Honda)…so I need to blow out the cobwebs and put the boy in his place!! LOL

You guys are being a bit tough on a fellow motorbike rider. Perhaps he wanted a reliable machine from a manufacturer who was happy to offer customer service.
