Guys,
Lets get behind Jim and get all our tank photos in one area.
If nothing else, we may change future versions of this awesomely stupid motorcycle!!

I will be all over this when I get back to the UK, I have got the paint coming off, cracking and the "mumps' still visible along the bottom together with the mark from the tank expanding so much it hit the top yoke

Likewise, I sent Jim pics when my tank failed at the gas strut mounting inserts causing it to leak fuel.
That said, I've not looked at the current tank since the bike went went away for the winter.

I have had a look but don't have any photos.
but I'm willing to sign a statement saying that I have experienced tank expansion and the circumstances that allow it to happen. I can show the marks that have happened during the process of trying to get it back into position.
I have also experienced one of the spoiler attachment captive nuts spinning in the moulding thus rendering the fixing point useless. I'm not alone in this - I think Klinky suffered from it too.
Several years ago I nearly bought one of the carbon tanks but avoided doing so because of their almost 100% ability to leak and split. You don't see them anywhere anymore.

Hi, I've started posting photos on the facebook page, please feel free to submit your own or email me your photos & I'll post them anonymously on your behalf. Nation & tank age information would be useful.

For those who have kindly sent me photos already, with your permission I would like to publish these.

Good man but sadly the single joint expert ruled that the tank is fit for purpose (you've all seen the photo). His photos are dubious at best. I'm pretty sure I've been screwed over. Trial date is 1st of May, have to represent myself and now have to prepare my defence. On verge now of losing the plot completely. Why was I so stupid to buy a piece of shit KTM? The Japs make equally fun bikes and aren't nearly as crappy as this Austrian shit. fook me, how the fook did I manage to get into this pissing mess?
