So moving to NYC seems to have been an epic failure.
Due to a lot of unforeseen costs and events, I am no longer able to afford everything over here.
I decided I'm going to be selling my truck and putting both my bikes into storage (possibly sending them back to California also).
Gonna do the whole public transportation thing for now I suppose. It's definitely going to suck not being able to ride.

I own a pretty successful design company and we are probably about a year from opening up a US studio to capitalise on the amount of work we get from the States. I'm outvoted on the location because I would open up in San Francisco or somewhere on the West coast but everyone wants to be in NewYork. I hate New York. It's the biggest con on the planet. It's sooooooo expensive and a big lie. Everyone who visits is forced to say how great it is because they daren't just judge it for what it is and tell the truth. An over rated, over priced, over populated with pretentiousness, shit hole.
Mate. Keep your bike on the road, keep your truck. Don't sell your stuff.
Just move somewhere that doesn't suck all the money out of you and gives you something nice in return.

You can store the bikes at my house. Every now and then take the train down and have wide open backroad bliss.

It makes things easier. Whenever I hear anyone buying a bike in the city I ask them have they parking arranged, otherwise its a pain in the ass. I'd sell the truck buy a Metrocard and sign up for Zipcar. You will save a fortune. I've used their Tacoma's for trackdays even. Riders Alley is bike specific parking with a work area may even suit you. The city has hard on for bikers at the moment and its not worth the hassle. Nights and weekends Is all I use the bikes now. Get to Bar Matchless on Mondays,Ear Inn on Tuesdays and Lady Jays on Wednesdays.Always plenty of bikers around that will help you out.
