When I was a young man a friend was curious if a particular lady was taken or available for dating.
He was declaring her taken, for she wore a little gold ring.
I told him about a song that he could use the lyrics to to get her to reveal the rings intent.
I do not recall the whole song but it was something like this.
What's that little gold ring that you wear?
Is it to make me understand, I'm wasting my time?
I'm out of my mind.
algo, algo algo...
Jump forward a few years and I am standing at a checkout counter and a young lady clerk is taking my money.
I said to her "next time demand a ring"
"Your letting him off way to cheap"
She had tge most humounguss hickey on her neck.
That word hickey, I am not sure it is used in other places other than the americas.
It is the mark left from playng vampires with your lover.
I have often felt that you are approaching trailer trash Barbie status when you let someone else leave a mark on you that lets the whole world know you are "taken by another"
I am wondering if the tattoo world has a type of situation that leaves a tattoo on another that is to inform the working status of an individual.
Are tattoos used to stake a claim on an individual?
