OK. So it's Saturday night and I'm a bit drunk.
But this forum has got a bit boring recently, there's nothing going on that is inspiring or anything.
So.....
I want to find out who thinks they have the best Superduke ever. I challenge anyone who thinks they have the best SD to put forward their specs list and justify why their bike is the best put together Superduke. After over more than 6 years I''ve done just about every mod possible - based on forum knowledge, my own assessment, aesthetic judgement, track day analysis, everyday judgement, commuter evaluation etc. whatever.
I think my bike is better than yours. !!! No I really do......
I'm up for a competition.
We're talking about what your bike looks like, how it performs, what you've done to make it better, everything.
I don't know how to set up this voting thing on the forum. Craig - do can you set it up for me? I want a thread set up to put in your bike spec and your argument for why it should win the SD.net forum best bike but be decided in that vote/thingy thing that I see up here sometimes.

Mine is best btw, took the crap bits off like boat anchor, sas, air restrictor box filter, rode it, clean it ride it...etc...

I think Ronin might have this one. His 06 is very nicely done. Now it has a orange frame and 08 SDR engine in it its the best of both worlds.

No, not best looking. I meant the best modded, spec.d and generally fettled bike to make it better than a standard SD.

Mine . Anyone can bolt expensive shit on. Takes a bit more to build a good bike. Custom parts, custom paint, etc. My old shitter still has a long way to go though as the motor is standard. .
The best bikes aren't on this site. There are german guys with rc8 front ends grafted on etc. So they win. There's some very special SD's out there.

I still think LOONEY'S looked the best after his EPIC build, never looking for the "highest hp" on track there is,,always believed keep the motor stock for longevity and work more towards handling and brakes,,lighter weight,,,any one with more hp can pass on the straights ,,,someone more crazy than you will eat you up in the corners,hp or not,,mine will never see the track, it's for the street,to enjoy ,on the street,I've got nothing to prove,,,,,so the "win" goes elsewhere,,,,

Its idiosycracys are shared experiances between the two parties. I overshot a turn, well actually that is a little misleading, I panicked pre-entry and the bike and I slid through one hundred fifty eight feet of San Joaquin goop. We share this hydroplaning moment together and no other bike could or will reawake the spirit of the twelve year old like my special toy. It was love at first site and I have lusted after no other. I added a little orange spider ring that was a Holloween trinket to the frame tube just above the oil level inspection tube.
Ride your bike and be pleased as punch that the word your is part of its speacialness

For me, it's hard not to pick mine.
Over the time since i bought it, it's been modded with discretion and with precision. Not carbon crap thrown at it, annodised tat thrown at it, but modded for performance and aesthetics. It's also been stripped in all the important bits (Brakes and suspension) so it goes and stops perfectly.
When i look at it i think "WOW, i did that" and it excites me...
