The only mods were the seat, muffler heat shield removed, subframe powder coated white, drz 400 fan switch and the kaoko throttle lock that I transfered to the super duke. Had to have the water pump replaced within the first 3 weeks. This was my first KTM, crazy thing was the one thing I brought up at the ktm dealer when looking at the 690 was that I heard ktm's suffered from water pump issues! I was told that, yes the 950 adventure in the begining did have water pump issues, but everything has been worked out ever since.

This is my second clutch cover leaking through the casting in the exact same place. The first made it 5,700 miles this one went 1,000. Still waiting on the gasket thats been on back order for about 3 weeks, 2 more weeks to go.
