Can't remember last time I had a Twinkie...
It WAS frozen though...
Always used to freeze them first...

I havnt had a Twinkie in a coons age. I do snuggle up to a few Snowballs a year. It's funny that till the notice that may be disapearing i say so what, but now I find myself haven a real hankOring for a cuppla Twinkies. I wonder bread if I have not been marketed to for so long and the consumer gene is embeded too deep to resist.
I want a Twinkie, and I want it now.

Its not the first time unions killed an iconic American business and it won't be the last.

On a different note, I just read the lyrics for "This is the end" - The Doors. Never realised how messed up that song is.......

I lived in the bay area of San Francisco when the Twinkie defence was forthcoming. Talk about some trying times.
My favorite by far was the Suzie-Q, it seemed to me rhat you got more bang for your thirtyeight cents with Suzie.
I would lick all the way around her sweet chocolate rim, diving my tongue deep into her creamed filled crevice.
In many ways I owe a debt of gratitude to Suzie-Q and Rosie-Palm.

So it was the unions that killed Suzy not a lack of interest.
Sort of like Europe. Too many wanting something for little and belly up they go.
I say the world needs more austerity measures, never mind this " Let them eat cake" idea.
If I cant have Suzy, I'll eat a bimbo or better yet Little Debbie has grown up and has some mighty fine cream between her sweetcakes.
Keep the NLRB for air traffic and sheet metal and leave the food and education systems alone.
