Well I got sick of police every where but didn't want to go slow. . So have started to get into the seq gravity enduro series. Heaps of fun and great for the fitness and has helped with my abilities on the motorbike / ride fitnes.

Full ballistic grade carbon frame, carbon wheels, carbon bars, carbon cranks, 6"s of travel, four piston callipers... absolute shredder of a bike... almost as much fun as the sd, no cops and you can ride wherever you want. Cleared a 40ft jump the other day. .. That much fun

Is anyone else into this thing too? Anything on two wheels is a good thing (except scooters)

Also, has anyone used strava before to record a motorcycle ride? Create segments on your favorite roads etc for pb's and racing your mates

Nice bike. A toy like that doesn't come too cheap, does it?

I use Strava for my road riding. Great for trying to beat PB's or the guy ahead of you. Used it once on the SD. Was KOM on every section. The times were shortly deleted thereafter by mods.

Nice new ride. MRZ. I'm an avid cyclist, and have been for ever it seems. I used to race quite a it, but injuries seem to take longer to heal lately. Lol. I still ride for fitness and mental therapy. Try "Map my ride". It's a competitor to Strava. Basically similar qualities.

A mate of mine has two carbon bike frames hanging in his garage with a selection of wheels, gears etc etc. The frames were 3.5K and 4.75K each, the wheels etc also really really expensive and I confess I don't get it at all....

Yes it’s a bit lighter than a bike you could buy in Halfords for a couple of hundred quid but really not that much. Other than the brand names all the other stuff seems much of a muchness to me so it’s hard to see where the value lies.

That said he is convinced it's all good and raves about a few grams saved here and there so beauty is as ever in the eye of the beholder. I wonder if all our aftermarket bike crap looks just as wasteful and pointless to non bikers?

Anyway – have fun and may all your hills go down!
