I was listening to the radio last Sunday, www.radiolab.org/, and they were discussing the notion that man was just a machine. It did not seem so far fetched an idea. All be it a slowly developed biomechanicall machine, but a machine no less.
I layed in bed pondering such notion while waiting for my brain to fall asleep and harkened back to when I was eight years old and my dad gave me his rudimentary understanding of how a stylus-cartridge transfers hills and dales into electrical signals off a record. I remember being blown away that man, the machine-animal, could achive such brilliance. So there I am again 576 moons later in total awestruckedness again pondering the idea that manthemachine makes machines to make manthemachines function easier. I love the wheel.
