Had my lovely Cannondale Badboy stolen from outside a pub in Marylebone high Street last night. Thieving scum. They just cut through the lock. I loved that bike, not sure if you can get them like this anymore, not even sure if it was even insured. Need to check my house insurance this morning. I feel violated. Hate London. Twats.

Dude... I thought your SD had gone when I saw the title. ... Still gutted for you tho.

Try Brick lane early this weekend. You can either take it by force (bring a mate), or buy it back for £25.

Sorry to hear about your bike bic, I'm just glad it wasn't the SD !!

We were in London a few weekends ago, the couple we were staying with were going on and on about how great London is because XYZ is only 2 mins away and there's another in the other direction and the rar rar is only down the road etc etc etc

The whole argument went out the window when we walked the dog in the park the following day, couple of kids (that had been stroking the dog earlier) came up to us, upset as 2 people had just tried to wrestle their bikes off them in broad daylight. I'm not saying crime isn't everywhere but in big cities especially London it's so rife you just can not leave anything anywhere. I don't think anyone could pay me enough to make me wanna live there

London = no thanks.

feel your pain. i had a Cannondale Trails bike stolen from my garage! they only made them for a short time (back when they were still made right here in the US), had a 24" rear wheel. i loved the thing, had it for years, it was my only transportation after my divorce for a year. rode it to work in the winter. never did find it, drove all around the neighborhood for weeks looking for it but it was a gonner. the a*****e left a half can of beer in the garage to add to the insult!

Sorry to hear this fella.
Boy I so don't miss living in Lahndan. It's a bottomless scum pit, teeming with light fingered vermin. You get em everywhere, but Lahndan is something else!
Hope you get the bike back.

Can't remember the name of the shop but I saw one of these at the bike store by London Bridge station. Not Evans, the other one. Worth checking out.
Sorry for your loss. I had my lovely hand built bike stolen in New York this year. Twats!
