I presume were talking track based tyre wear?

Dave Moss is very good at reading tyres, if you have a spare hour take a look at this video -

This should clarify in your mind what your issue is. The worst offenders for strange tyre wear/ripping are hot and cold tear from incorrect pressures!!!
