You can't get nearer than 20 or 30 yards away from the stones now. This is just the view from the A303 as you pass the site.

I lived a few miles north of the stones for a while, posting at the Royal School of artillery.

In the summer, if we were on mobile patrol we'd pop down there for a ice cream.
Park up in the car park, leave all the weapons in the back of the wagon with one guy and go and get a 99 and check out the totty.

Luke, you got me.

The tyre tracks are from my 1.2 million traveling motorhome/workshop-semi trailer. Got a jacuzi, bar and wide screen cinema plus a fully functioning kitchen with is run by a full-time staff of three. Heated swimming pool was an option but I thought it a bit OTT.

Driver just goes wherever I want and then texts me when I should wake up/get out of jacuzi/stop shagging in the cinema and I just wheel the bike out the back and take snap shots of interesting places to post on Superduke.net.

Good way to spend the weekend if one can be bothered to suggest an interesting route and have the time to play with and it makes me feel like I'm actually achieving something.
