I went in today so ktm could make sure I had the latest ecu update to see if that would cure my faulty fuel gage(which was fine for 7800 miles). My question is, I thought I read a couple post on this forum saying that the latest update will hold whatever power mode or abs setting you last entered, is this true? The reason I ask, is after getting the "latest" update, my bike goes right back to the default street mode after the 60 second "ecu reset" the bike does when the tail light flashes. Could have sworn a few guys complained that they bought the dongle from ktm to prevent that, and then htm "updates" the ecu.
