as the subject asks....im wanting a gopro for the sdr/530 ecx. i would want it for videos alone and to be able to put the footage on my laptop to cut out the boring riding bits in between wheelies i would like to be able to attach it to my helmet and to the side of the bike. which would you recommend and what size memory card?

I bought one on fleabay and a Chinese mounting kit with loads of helmet / bike mounts. Mine was the generation before the current one but it's HD and produces great video. A 16GB card holds a couple of hours which is as long as the battery lasts. Was a cheap and easy solution for me.

You can also get a piggy back battery pack, which slightly more than doubles battery life.

I use it for my enduro adventures and occasionally on the road. In all honesty 2 hours is loads. After all you have to log all the recorder stuff to your pc and then edit it. At mist you would want a lap or compilation of overtakes etc and it would take an age going through hours of video to pick out the good bits. You can get bigger batteries and storage cards if you really want to.

GoPro have just released a new Black 3+, it looks cool. That'll be the one to get.
