Great video the 1290 got hammered, as I have said all along the 1290 is over geared, you can hear how the 1190 spins the motor up much quicker through the gears than a standard geared 1290 does. Depending on where & how you ride I prefer a 16T front sprocket because the motor spins up so much quicker than with a 17T.

Which "Motard" (that bastard thing we know nothing about in the vid - ?), and by "quicker" what do you mean - E.T. in a 1/4 mile contest (from a stop), or what?
With the magical TC and short enough gearing, a 1290 could stomp any single "Motard" in the 1/4 at both E.T. ("quicker") and speed (faster) through the trap. That bike in the vid - who knows what that is ... Maybe he has a nitrous bottle on it!
Not sure what the question is here ... Gonna go with Joe Biker's observation here: Just jacking it on some highway somewhere doesn't tell me anything.

I thought this was a tongue and cheek post with a cool vid showing off a beast of a motard...

The 1290 got beaten because it's a slow orange one.
They should have used a black one, they're definitely quicker!
