Hey everyone,
New to the forum after reading and getting a lot of information from all of you. I just purchased a 2008 SD-R. The bike is currently in Wisconsin, USA and will be shipped to the Hawaiian Islands on the July 9th. I am in the military and currently deployed. I won't be back to Hawaii until early July so I have something to look forward to shortly after I return. While waiting I will continue to do my homework on this beast and get a better idea of the modifications I'm going to make. The SD-R has always been my dream bike and I promised myself I would one day own it. I also have a 2008 KTM EXC-R Supermoto. A blast to ride but I am really looking forward to the duke. Welcome and thanks for your service. I had a cousin stationed there before deploying to Iraq... Unfortunatly he didnt make it back so that's why I say thank you
